DESCRIPTION

Social Workers, Helping Professionals, Supervisors and Leaders are responsible for managing heavy caseloads, maintaining clinical documentation, supervisory standards of staff ensuring an ethical commitment, while trying to consistently address conflict, adhere to administrative demands, and provide adequate supervision in support of the agency goals and mission. In the midst of juggling these professional commitments, there are also personal areas that run the risks of being ignored including areas involving psychological well-being. Social Workers and other Helping Professionals are skilled at assisting others to achieve better outcomes in their lives, but may not prioritize this as an area for their own. This interactive training will utilize a variety of teaching techniques, including articles, case studies, as well as small and large group discussions related to psychological well-being and understanding toxicity.
